I would love to, seeing that the work done is so fantastic. My peice is going to take up one whole side like hers but will have more characters in it. I just know no matter where I go its not going to be cheap and....its gonna hurt. lol
actually, i am known in multiple states for being one on the gentlest tattoo artists anywhere and work remarkably fast, especially with my black n grey work. so youd be surprised how affordable, fast and comfortable i can be.
Question is would you be able to do a tattoo done as calligraphy art? Because thats the type of art I want mine done. I'd have to speak with you more on the design itself before getting a guess on the price.
im not really sure im following you. calligraphy is generally a writing technique and style. so are you talking about getting lettering...or you talking about getting just lines and swirls all done like it was created and sculpted with a calligraphy pen?
if this is something youd like to pursue, it would be best to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. thats my business e-mail and i can send images and swap reference photos, etc. that way. i think ive got some coolreference images that might be what youre kind of talking about...if im understanding you properly.
I'm really impressed with how you worked with the woman's body shape and managed to make the dragon coil and twist and the cherry tree branch and blossom to accentuate her natural shape and curves, the very smoky/ethereal type shading and colors of the dragon with the harder lines and shading of the tree create a really nice contrast and the really vivid green stands out against the much softer grey/brown/pink palette. Was this a design that the customer came in with (dragon + cherry tree) or was this something you two collaborated on? How long did it take (several sessions vs. one marathon session)?
