tribal-ish vine by asussman tribal-ish vine by asussman
not big into these kinds of things, but it's always cool to follow the shape and curves of the body. the butterfly and lower back thing was already there.

I am thinking of a vine (in a similar style to the one on her ^ back) up my leg. Starting at my foot, going around my ankle and up my leg.

well, you need to wind it organically up and around the leg like a natural vine would and go all the way up the leg to right around the hip. i think that would be really cool. have you ever been to san diego or CA before?

That woman is far braver than I will ever hope to be

And the detail and lines are incredible! You followed her curves perfectly.

thanks a lot. glad you like it. im a fanatic about following the curves properly. it didnt take bravery and you can do it just as easily as she did.

Well, I kinda hate needles. I mean I suck it up when necessary, but that's one of the reasons why the tattoos I have are fairly subtle.

That, I have no idea what I'd want tattooed over my entire back or arm or anywhere else

Lol. Well, your designs ARE gorgeous to be sure. I'm just not sure a tattoo that covers an entire part of me IS for me. (But it would look pretty cool)

Funny, I feel bad for thinking it, but in the interest of being candid: Even if you had not stated it I would've seen easily which ink was yours - only the most unique, free flowing, natural looking designs would be yours. Looks like that theory is correct. I imagine, after seeing your finished work, the client thought to herself "I wish I'd had THIS guy design my other tattoos."

I see digital art here on DA from time to time, organic, flowing, natural, with lovely stark lines, which is a skill in itself; THEN I see your work, hand with machine, skin and ink, and you accomplish the same stunning creativity but without the luxury for error! You have no "undo" button, no "layers" function, no ability to save your progress and return to it whenever you like... yours is far more intense, more stirring, and though the same can be said of some other artworks, yours changes lives.

*sigh* Wow.

Rock FOREVER on!

It contours your curves beautifully. This is one of the rare instances where the tattoo doesn't just look randomly slapped on.
